If you have a Wal-Mart near you, their fabric department usually has a good selection of $1.00/yd fabrics. Keep an eye out also when you visit thrift stores or any resale store.
I have found what I feel is the ultimate in fabrics for quilting…Try the Thrift Shops,or Good Will.You can get clothing, and take it apart .The selection is enormous,and alot of dresses,are several yards of material,or curtains ,bedspreads,etc.Looking at clothing,as “fabric”,makes a huge difference in the pocket book.
